Track: Joined the Alkek youth cycling league in 2024, it has helped Jacob gain confidence on and off the bike. He's excited that he is able to ride with one hand, while standing up and using the pedal cage.
Other sports: In a competitive year-round swim team, competes in swim meets, triathlons and 5K runs. He ran his first 5K at 7 years old.
Hobbies/school: Loves math and is taking next grade level math. He is also a part of the Gift and Talented program in his school district. He loves making new friends but watch out, he also loves giving you math problems to solve.
The Alkek Junior Team is currently raising funds for the 2025 Season through a Lap-A-Thon event on Oct. 26th. The funds will be used to help cover the cost of race entries, provide equipment and racing apparel.
